Port Aransas is full of fun, sun, water, and sand for an ideal island getaway. There are plenty of beach activities to choose from. Attractions
Kids of all ages can try their hand at a sand sculpture. “Lesson Mountain” teaches you how to build your own sand castles. Experts volunteer their time and talent to give you tips and tricks on building your own sandy works of art. All materials are provided, and Lesson Mountain is open daily 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The children’s area has complimentary face painting in a variety of styles sure to please your little ones. The Chick-fil-A “Herd” will be stampeding in on Saturday with bovine humor, photo ops, handing out mini plush cows, and more.
Live Performances
When you’re not marveling at the sand sculptures, take in some live music. Bands play all weekend long, presenting a variety of musical styles that will keep you dancing to the music all day and all night long.

Tickets to Texas SandFest
The Texas SandFest is an event people of all ages can enjoy. Pay for your wristband at the gate (cash only) and received entrance for all three days of the festival. Age 13 to adult is $20, ages 6-12 is $5, and children five and under are free.
