We continue our tradition of staying at The Dunes a ~week in late September to remember my parents who stayed at The Dunes for a month from mid-Sept to mid-Oct for probably over two-decades. We continue to share the same enjoyment, amenities, views of the beach and ship channel, and close location to all the great Port-A restaurants with our children as my parents did with us. We hope to continue this tradition for as long as we are able!

Our week of vacation for my family in The Dunes and Port Aransas was the fastest week for us in 2025. We continued to enjoy being on the beach followed by relaxing times at the Dune's pool & hot tub; being greeted and supported by the awesome Dunes' staff, and continue to remember my parents staying there for a month at a time in the fall for over two decades. Thanks for the continued memories!

Family Stay At The Dunes Week of 9/24/24

We're carrying on my parents tradition of staying each fall at The Dunes which they did for a month at a time for over 20 years until they couldn't travel anymore which unfortunately coincided the year with Harvey. We thoroughly enjoyed those times and this past week was not unlike the times we had with my parents. We thank The Dunes and staff for their hospitality and amenities which allowed us to continue to remember the joy my parents had at The Dunes and knowing this was one of their favorite places on earth.

Never Ending Calmeness

Our visit at the Dunes is never disappointing. The weather was not in our favor this weekend but just sitting in the balcony listening to the calmness of the water is so therapeutic and definitely a stress reliever. I am already making plans for a return visit. 🥰🥰

#508 - Beautiful condo in excellent condition and location. There were 6 of us including our 98 year old mom. She enjoyed the balcony view and the drive on the beach. She was able to use her walker and wheelchair with no problem.

We stayed at the Dunes Condo #508 and had a great time. The Condo is updated, nicely furnished, very clean, and has a great view. Overall, The Dune Condominium complex is great. The entire facility is well maintained, clean, and the management was very professional - from the front desk personnel to the maintenance crew. We have stayed there many times and are looking forward to staying again.

I spent any winter months at the Dunes( maybe 10 or 15 years ) starting in 1992) With my sister& cousins. Always a wonderful time, My brother and wife we’re there for many winters.we were all from Minnesota. It made me happy to see how well the Town of Port Aransas has rebuilt after the hurricane.

The Dunes is our favorite place to stay when we come to Port Aransas. The staff is always friendly and makes you feel like family. The condos are located right by the Beach/Horace Caldwell Pier (walking distance) and a short drive to the jetties. This unit in particular is REALLY nice. Everything felt comfy and clean, the beds are super comfy and the view from the balcony is unbeatable. 10/10 would stay in this unit again.

We stayed here June 19-23, 2022. Great views, great spot in Port A on the beach And near the pier. Bedrooms very comfy, great bathrooms, well stocked kitchen. The only thing missing was a washer/dryer. Would absolutely recommend this gorgeous unit to all.

So enjoyed our stay!! All of the staff was friendly and went out of their way to be courteous and helpful! Instructions on the King bed shower would have been nice (pull down on the faucet itself) 508 was beautiful and cozy with the amazing views!! Wish the wind would have been less, but we didn’t let it stop us. SANDFEST was awesome!’

I could not select "rating" but if I could it would be over 100 Percent! The room was perfect for me and two friends. It was well stocked w/ all our cooking needs. Very well appointed and we felt "at home" in the space. Having the two double beds meant no one had to sleep in the living room. I will certainly try to book this room time and time again.

We have been waiting for the Dunes to open back up from Hurricane Harvey. My husband, grandson I stayed in #508. Wow, it was beautiful and the furniture was extremely comfortable which made the visit that much more enjoyable. The staff was very professional and courteous. We can't wait to go again.
