My wife and I enjoyed a 4-night stay in The Dunes unit 409. The beach access was extremely easy, the facilities were well maintained, and the condo was clean, comfortable and well furnished. All of the front desk and maintenance staff with whom we interacted were friendly and helpful.

Nice Accommodation - Room 409

This is our 2nd year staying at The Dunes. We chose a 2-bedroom condo as we had friends stay with us for part of the time. The condo is roomy with private bathrooms for each couple. Although we like to eat at some of the locals, we also love to cook. The kitchen area is great for cooking and just a quick meal at the island. For a full meal with guests, the dining table nearby is spacious. The beds are comfortable and the view spectacular! A few minor suggestions: hair dryers in each bathroom, cookie sheets/pizza pan/extra dish towels in kitchen. Front desk personnel and staff are very helpful and friendly. Coming back to The Dunes next year.

August 2023,The Dunes condo are just a short walk from the beach and pier, I couldn't ask foe a better location. Unit #409 is beautifully decorated, the view from the balcony is awesome, kitchen is well equipped to make a meal and cocktail! Unit sleeps 6 comfortably. Very clean and well maintained. Eatiers are a within a 10 min drive. I will be returning.

Condos were safe, clean, and fun. Beach was amazing. Pool was wonderful. Very nice that pool towels were provided. If I were to be picky, I’d say you need another grill, house keeping for fresh towels, trash, and paper products every 3rd day.

Unit 409 was beautifully decorated and was right on the beach. Our only complaint is that there were no directions for the TV set in the Living Room and we had to have 3 people up to figure out how to access Live TV/Cable.

Room with a Beautiful View and Great Location

Unit 409 was beautiful! We especially liked the following… The location in relation to The pool/hot tub and the beach! The sunrises and view of The Gulf were breathtaking! The cleanliness, spaciousness and the decorating of the unit . The well stocked kitchen . Spacious and clean bathrooms. Wifi Service Basket of games/cards The location of The Dunes in relation to all of the quaint little shops and restaurants that Port A offers! We were able to walk everywhere, including the pier and jetty! The fishing was good, too! The hot tub was very nice in the evenings! The staff is as very friendly! Some things we wish it had: Keypad Service, instead of keys. Laundry service in the unit: Going down to the basement was a bit inconvenient, but the cost was included in our stay. So that was good! Beach chairs would have been nice to have. The hot tub heater did not work until Thursday, so we had to go 5 days until we could enjoy it. Our ice machine wasn’t working until the final day of our stay. The unit did not have a mop, but I was able to get a broom to keep the floors somewhat clean during our stay! I did have to buy a toilet scrubber and cleaner and some measuring cups, as well. But those are just minor things! In closing, other than some needed updates to the facility as stated above and some cosmetic repairs, we really loved our stay!
